years for the reason that liberation of the town of Jabrayil from Armenian
occupation, Pattern

On October 4, 2020, President Ilham Aliyev introduced the

Khorovlu, Dejal, Mahmudlu, and Jafarabad within the Jabrayil district

In accordance with a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on
July 31, 2023, Jabrayil Metropolis Day is now celebrated yearly on
October 4.
On September 27, 2020, the villages of Boyuk Marjanly and Nuzgar
within the Jabrayil district had been liberated, adopted by the villages
of Mehdili, Chakhirly, Ashagy Maralyan, Sheybey, and Guyjak on
October 3. On October 4, Jabrayil metropolis and 9 further
villages—Karkhulu, Shukurbeyli, Charakan, Dashkasan, Khorovlu,
Mahmudlu, Jafarabad, Yukhari Maralyan, and Dejal—had been free of
