Authorities started putting in the sculpture of the previous Georgia congressman in Decatur final week forward of its official unveiling on Saturday.
“It’s thrilling to see it going up and thrilling for the importance of what it represents and what it’s changing,” Basil Watson, the artist behind the brand new statue, mentioned on the set up.
