BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 6. Members of
the worldwide parliamentary convention “Parliamentarism:
Traditions and Prospects,” held on the Azerbaijani Parliament,
visited Victory Park in Baku immediately, Pattern reviews.
The friends had been briefed on the importance of the park, which
was established following a decree by the President of the Republic
of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on December 3, 2020. The park serves as
a tribute to the martyrs of Azerbaijan’s 44-day Patriotic Conflict,
honoring their heroic sacrifice and celebrating the historic
victory achieved within the battle. Spanning roughly 10
hectares, the park is a logo of nationwide delight and
remembrance.
On the entrance to the park stands a triumphal arch, symbolizing
the 44-day conflict, measuring 44 meters in top and 22 meters in
width, supported by 44 columns. A memorial monument, which marks
November 8—Victory Day—can also be prominently positioned on the entrance,
symbolizing victory and the unshakable unity of the nation. The
space surrounding the monument is adorned with inexperienced areas,
designed to mirror the intricate patterns of Karabakh carpets.
The park’s design consists of a number of notable options: a thematic
backyard, a cascading waterfall, a Karabakh memorial backyard, and an
remark deck. Relaxation areas are located all through the memorial
backyard, and on the park’s finish, the Freedom Flag Sq. has been
constructed.
The convention members took pictures in entrance of the Victory
Monument within the park and paid tribute to the martyrs who gave their
lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the
motherland.
