Patrick Beverley has a bone to select with Steve Ballmer.
Talking with co-host Adam Ferrone on their Barstool Sports activities “Pat Bev Pod,” Beverley claimed that Ballmer has not but fulfilled a facet deal the 2 agreed upon in 2019 when the guard signed a three-year contract with the crew — for $10 million lower than was provided by the Kings — for the Clippers proprietor to construct 94 basketball courts within the Los Angeles group.
“So [when] I signed my cope with the Clippers, I received like a three-year, $50 million [offer] from Sacramento. And I’m like, ‘Nah I’m cool.’ Like, I need to stick with the Clippers, so I take the three-year, $40 mil [deal] from the Clippers,” Beverley mentioned.
“We go to the assembly on the Ritz in Marina Del Rey and we comply with the three-year, $40 mil [deal], and Steve Ballmer goes, ‘With that, I’m gonna provide you with 94 basketball courts that you can select to place throughout LA.’ That’s fireplace as f–okay!”
