The United Arab Emirates has achieved a brand new milestone within the area of cybersecurity, because the Worldwide Telecommunication Union ranked it within the prime world class (Pioneering Mannequin) in line with the 2024 International Cybersecurity Index.

He added that this world rating displays the numerous progress made by the UAE in digital transformation and strengthens its place as a regional and world hub for innovation and know-how.
Dr. Al Kuwaiti careworn that this achievement can also be the results of the mixed efforts of all groups working in cybersecurity, whether or not within the public or non-public sectors.
He defined that the Cybersecurity Council operates by an built-in mechanism that focuses on enhancing nationwide cybersecurity governance, constructing nationwide capacities, and selling worldwide cooperation in data sharing.
The International Cybersecurity Index is a complete measure that evaluates the cybersecurity maturity of United Nations member states, protecting 5 key areas: authorized measures, regulatory measures, cooperation measures, capacity-building measures, and technical measures.
